Terezie Rausová / “PLANETA INSECTA” / art exhibition

In her work, Terezie Rausová explores her own alternative microcosms, which specifically illustrate a subjective and critical view of human activity in the context of current environmental issues. The anthropomorphic insects in the paintings may refer to coexistence as well as enormous differences in the length of phylogenetic development. The toxic-looking neon colors evoke a warning of danger or poisonousness.

About the author:
Born 1998 in Brno. From 2013 to 2017, she studied painting at the Secondary School of Art and Design in Brno, then continued her studies at Faculty of Arts of the Ostrava University, and from 2018 to 2024 at FaVU in Brno. She has held 7 solo exhibitions and participated in a number of group exhibitions.
