Prýgl - procházka

26. 4.  11.00  Prýgl - Brněnská přehrada

A participatory, performative walk in the footsteps of the sculptures from the Brno Plein Air, which
was held in the past near the Brno Dam. We’ll start with a historical map from 2005
documenting the sculptures that stood here that year or still stand today.
Together, we will set out to find their locations, talk about the artists, and discuss the stories
associated with them.

The walk combines narratives about the artworks with small participatory
moments that arise directly along the route. Participants thus become part of
a shared exploration of the site’s memory and the transformations of public space.

The event explores the transience of materials, collective experience, and the question of what
remains in the landscape—and what, conversely, is gradually disappearing.

The walk was organized by students from the Department of Art and Design at PED MUNI: Martin Sekyra, Adéla Jordová, Adéla Doležalová, Štěpánka Zbytovská,
Special guests: Professor Radek Horáček and academic sculptor Jiří Sobotka
