The curatorial selection by Tomáš Ruller and Jennifer Helia De Felice presents a pilot showcase drawn from the emerging VMP field database at VKB. This database is the outcome of research conducted through grants in 2024/2025, coordinated in parallel with the exhibition Distorted Image at the House of Arts.

The aim is to offer a representative overview of diverse video works by individual artists as well as creative collectives, based on available materials from the twenty-year existence of the Performance Studio (2000–2020), including examples of performative video production from the earlier period of the Video–Multimedia–Performance Studio (1993–2000).

From the approximately 200 collected videos, we plan to publish around 120 video works this year by approximately 70 authors, together with a selection of video recordings of around 15 collective actions.

The background context is formed by the Studio WEB, accessible on the VKB website, which documents the historical development from the first versions of websites in the mid-1990s to the present day.

The exhibition will be organized into five generational sections, arranged chronologically according to the creation dates of the selected works.

Individual segments will be launched during guided tours held at two-week intervals.
