Horizonts
The Horizons project creates a collective woven textile work that symbolizes a network of relationships and the resilience of the community. The emerging installation gradually takes shape during the event, and its form depends on the contributions and creativity of the participants. The project makes use of existing outdoor furniture and recycled textile materials, thereby emphasizing its ecological dimension. The goal is to revive traditional textile weaving techniques in a contemporary artistic context, create a collaborative work, and demonstrate that resilience arises from connection, not isolation.
The work can be added to throughout the entire Art Week.
The event was organized by: Lenka Gruberová from the Department of Gallery Education and Art Mediation and Nina Džambazovič from the Department of Art Education at the Faculty of Education, Masaryk University.
