Architecture students from Brno University of Technology will present their publication UNDERCOVER: Náhled do brněnské kultury, a book that goes beyond a simple collection of data, offering a mosaic of emotions, rawness, and authenticity from Brno’s independent scene. In addition, students from the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University will showcase their Galerie Edikula Catalogue. Both publications will be introduced and discussed during this special evening.

UNDERCOVER: Náhled do brněnské kultury (A Glimpse into Brno Culture)
Brno pulsates with its own rhythm, hiding its stories beneath the surface of the city and giving space to creative chaos outside the main cultural currents. Students from the Faculty of Architecture at Brno University of Technology set out to explore this invisible landscape, capturing it in UNDERCOVER: Náhled do brněnské kultury – a book that is not just a collection of data, but above all a mosaic of the emotions, rawness, and authenticity of Brno’s independent scene.

Galerie Edikula Catalogue
The catalogue was created on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the establishment of Galerie Edikula, a community micro-gallery project led by students from the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University. The publication traces the founding and five-year history of the gallery, which serves as a platform for contemporary art, supporting emerging artists and the curatorial practices of students. The catalogue presents the organizational background of the gallery, the principles of the student collective, and the challenges associated with the creation of site-specific projects in this architecturally unique space.
