Kudeříková and Aliens and Herons – performative guided tour

The performative walk in search of artistic realizations will focus on Brno’s anti-fascist history. Along with moving historical events, we will also explore artistic monuments that represent time-conditioned interpretations of history and its cultural representations. The guide will be sculptor and author of the popular project Aliens and Herons, Pavel Karous, who will use his “presentation stick,” created together with designer Štěpán Skalský. The lecture will be conducted in tandem with Martin Pfann, who is engaged in artistic research on local anti-fascist resistance.

The event will take place on Saturday, 12 April 2025. We will meet at 14:00 in front of Kounicova Hall of Residence and end the walk at the Marie Kudeříková monument on Kpt Jaroš street, followed by refreshments at Tři Ocásci. The estimated duration of the walk is 2 hours.
