Jan Plecháč transforms the skylight of the Museum of Applied Arts of the Moravian Gallery into a living scene of development and dynamic change. Works telling the story of the evolution of the designer's diverse oeuvre, which has so far spanned fifteen years, are arranged on wooden crates and pallets. It is as if his work has just migrated to the gallery, to one place from different parts of the world, places, from different owners or producers in different design sectors. But there is an admirable order to the seemingly idiotic moving mummery. For the first time ever, the viewer has the opportunity to see Jan Plecháč's work together in one place, and to rise with him and with it from the beginning upwards to the heights of design.
