The program in the exhibition Always Avoid Discussions, Never Discuss by the collective The Family focuses on the connections between dialogue, communication, words, design and visual art. Design is all around us and can influence us even if we don’t realize it.This educational program is designed to expose students to how design accompanies our everyday lives - from visual communication in advertisements, to functional and aesthetic elements of products, to fashion trends. During the interactive programme, pupils will try their hand at creating their own designs and gain new knowledge that they can use in the future. The programme falls under the educational area of Arts and Culture. The cross-cutting themes are Personal and Social Education and Media Education. The educational programme was created by students of the Department of Art Education, majoring in Gallery Pedagogy and Art Mediation.
